Maddie's Funnies!

So Maddie has been cracking me up lately. This morning she told me to put a cat on her chin. I kept thinking what in the heck are you talking about. She had a sore on her chin, and had kept picking at it, and I told her to stop or it would get worse. Then we are in the bathroom and she says to me again, "Mommy put a cat on my owie!" I realize then that she wanted me to put on one of her "Hello Kitty" band aids. So funny!

She has a bit of a cold right now, and whenever her nose starts to run she'll say to me, "Mommy, my nose come out!"

The other day, Brooklyn was crying, so Maddie walked over to her and sang to her "Twinkle twinkle" like she always does when she starts to cry. When that didn't work she said, "I'm sorry you're having a rough time 'Bookyn'!" It's so sweet to watch her love and concern for her sister!

Time outs have not been working for Maddie. She enjoys her room too much. I've tried taking away certain toys from her. Doesn't phase her! So the other day I came up with a brilliant idea! Maddie from day one has LOVED shoes. She has 5 different pairs of high heels that she changes thru out the day. So I decided to try taking away her high heels when she was naughty. Oh my it worked like a charm! I don't think I've ever seen her more upset. I wish I would have had a video of it. I know that's mean, but sometimes I can't help but laugh at her toddler tantrums!

 I just thought I would throw in these pictures of M in her "dance" outfit. I love playing dress up with my little diva! And lucky for me... she loves it too!
