California!

Here are a bunch of pictures from our last trip to CA. We had so much fun and M got spoiled rotten, of course! Grandpa taught her how to make mud pies!
At first M was scared to get her hands dirty at all, but by the end she had used the mud as make up on Grandpa's face. Note above picture and the thrilled look on my dad's face!
We hung out with G'pa and Gigi almost every day.
Maddie actually tasted her "pie." That's when we taught her about pretending. She then thought Grandpa should try it too!
She really loves her uncle. I wonder why? Between all the chocolate cake and ice cream and presents he got her. Mommy never lets her have all those sweets! Uncle also taught her a lot about football, and got her to eat her lunch when nobody else could!
Grandpa had her working in the yard and loving every minute of it! Every night when he would get home, they would go outside and play games, look for bugs, and he would swing her around. She would get so dizzy, but when he'd stop she'd say, "More more more!!!"
My Aunt got Maddie these princess high heel shoes and it was near impossible to get her out of them and still is! My mom Got her this little cooking set, and as you can see she is pouring Gigi a glass of milk. Quite the outfit don't you think!!!
M got to play with her cousin that's her same age. They had fun being wild together! And sitting in the dogs bed!!!
We went and visited Auntie down at the beach. M didn't care at all about the water... she was fascinated with the seagulls and all the dogs at the beach.
Grandma spoiled her rotten!!! She taught her some pretty "shnazzy" new dance moves, bought her new clothes, and new toys! Maddie would wake up in the morning demanding to see her "Dam-ma" as she calls her.

And this is how I survived the 11 hour trip by myself. We bought dvd players that attach to the headrests, and all though I brought 6 different movies to keep her occupied, to my surprise the only movie she seemed to want to watch over and over and over was Charlotte's Web. I am so grateful that she was kept busy and was happy the entire drive, but I am even more grateful for my i-pod to drown out the sounds of 11 hours of the same movie played over and over.

She is so adorable! I'm surprised she didn't like the water as much as the seagulls!
